Despite embarking on their first-ever European adventure, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Without star players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a comfortable win that virtually guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another victory in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to seal straight passage to the last 16, particularly after a prior stumble against Strasbourg.

Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to rest key players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring with his first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also blazed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still room for development in his game.
